As you all know, yesterday was the MochaLisa Book or Treat event. Though I have done two book signings, this event felt different for a few reasons. This was my first time intermingled with other authors as an author, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Everyone was supportive of one another, and there was a community vibe that I am grateful I was apart of.
Meeting and talking with people I didn’t know wasn’t nearly as intimidating as I envisioned. I really enjoyed talking with people about their interests and about the Knights book itself. Also, I learned that nearly everyone loves themed rubber ducks. Something to note for future events.
I’m just getting started in this author world, and I am looking forward to all the new experiences.
