-Great read by a new author! good vs evil, friendship, love, fantasy, magic, power, vulnerability … this book has it all. if you like fantasy, anime, suspense and/or mystical beings, then this book is for you. I feel this book is enjoyable and suited across a wide age range. I am eagerly anticipating what comes next from author M.L. Olmstead.
-Great Book! Something new: interesting characters with a great storyline. Fantastic read. Can’t wait for Book 2.
-The book has character’s you can connect with, I enjoy that this book doesn’t waste its time setting up characters, but instead you find out about them as the story is evolving around them. The book does something I think not a lot of typical fantasy do in question and individual morals. The magic in this book is easy to follow and to understand and by the end of it you find yourself resonating with one or more characters. There is more layers to the story then just being a hero and I think it touches on many subjects to everyday life or things in life we don’t talk about.
-An excellent little book about three unrelated young men who get pulled into another dimension, all from very different lives, to save a world being destroyed by an evil sorceress. They learn to connect, to cooperate with each other in order to survive this strange world where they are seen as saviors and as also dangers. I particularly loved the dialog given to three Gen Z young men trying to communicate with other beings whose culture is almost medieval. Worth finding the book on Amazon.
